Our last full Ofsted inspection was in October 2016 and the school was graded as ‘requires improvement’. Since this we have had a monitoring visit in October 2017 which stated ‘Senior leaders and directors are taking effective action to tackle the areas requiring improvement identified at the recent section 5 inspection in order to become a good academy.’

In July 2018, we were graded ‘good’ in our SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection with strengths being noted as:

‘Pupils’ behaviour is of a high standard, they show care and concern for one another as part of their school family and attribute this to the school’s Christian character’ and ‘The new head of school has brought stability and focus to the work of the church school following a period of uncertainty. She has created a team who share her vision and have high aspirations for pupils.
