As part of a Multi Academy trust, we are able to work with and learn from colleagues, leading to a supportive environment for all our pupils. As such we adopt a ‘whole school approach ‘ to special education needs which involves all staff adhering to a model of good practice.
We have many tools and strategies to help us with this including ICT, intervention lessons taught by a teacher and Teaching Assistants. Our MAT team of dedicated Teaching Assistants have substantial knowledge and practical experience of working with children with a range of SEND needs.
Our SENCo Mrs L Collins has achieved the National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination.
